Privacy Statement

From 25th May 2018 data protection laws will be updated to strengthen the requirement to obtain consent from someone to hold their data. While data can be held for the lawful purposes of managing the hall i.e. bookings, staff administration, accounts and records, public relations, etc. without specific consent, if data is held or used for other purposes which are incompatible with the original purposes (i.e. sharing with other groups and organisations), then we would need to obtain your consent to use it.
It is not our intention to share your information. Sapperton Village Hall Trustees only uses personal data for the purposes of managing the hall - its bookings and finances, running and publicising events at the hall and its fundraising activities.

Your privacy is important to us so we will always keep your details secure. We will never, except for Gift Aid details to HMRC and Charity Commission communications for trustees, divulge them to any third party or organisation. Where it is for accounts purposes data may be retained for up to 7 years. All data files are password protected.
